Alliance for Pharmaceutical Access (APA) is a nonprofit organization that provides linkages to Pharmaceutical companies that offer medications to community members who meet their qualifications. The APA highly trained compassionate advocates assist community members through the application process by providing individualized services, at no cost.
Since 2004, APA has been working diligently with its physician, hospital, and business partners to close the inequity gaps in medication access for the medically insured/underserved. Let us help you navigate the process.
APA offers an advocate whom you can trust to guide you through the pharmaceutical application process so that we can work together to obtain your prescribed medications. Thanks to our generous and giving community and individuals, we are able to provide the services to you at no charge. Our approach to assisting you with medication advocacy involves organization, computer assistance, follow-up phone calls and confidentiality.

Cómo hacemos esto?
By accessing medication through patient assistance programs, often they are free or special pricing. APA is the link between those in need and the patient assistance programs.
If a client needs specialty or brand name medications, we help you enroll in the Patient Assistance Programs; if you qualify for Medi-Cal we refer you to the nearest social services office or certified enrollment counselor; if you are commercially insured, or have Medicare or Medi-Cal but are unable to afford the out of pocket expenses for your medications, we seek co-payment assistance programs, and on-line assistance or on-line discounted medications. In 2016 APA started a program which offers discounted diabetes testing supplies to qualifying individuals.
